Far offshore, the Yen (Swallow) Island appears with lush green colours where salangane nests have been harvested for years to make the traditional "bird's nest" tonic and food.
The 7km white sand beach of Nha Trang is often called Vietnam’s Mediterranean Area, considered one of the jewel along Vietnam's long stretching coast line. Nha Trang is sunny all year round, with an average temperature of 23°C due to northern winds.

Nhatrang is home to the summer residence of the last Vietnamese Emperor and the place has been known as Bao Dai Villa.
Seafood restaurants and cafes ring the beach side area and the food is excellent. Quiet beaches can be found minutes from the center of the town. Boat trips to surrounding coastal areas and islands provide another escape for the traveler.
There are "seafood farms" in the middle of the sea at Fishing Village where tourists can choose the food their hearts desire from grouper to lobster. Venture a little further and tourists would see an aquatic preserve and aquarium filled with beautiful ocean wonders. Further than that, just come to a resort style beach where you can rent water crafts or enjoy swimming in the clear aquamarine blue waters.
